I am a professor at the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), where I have teaching, research, outreach, and administrative duties. I supervise students at the Post-graduate level in Biological Sciences (Animal Biology) (PPGBAN) of UFES. I got my graduate degree in Biology, with emphasis in Vertebrate Zoology, at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2004) and master (2007) and doctorate degrees (2011) in Zoology at the National Museum / Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My research focus mostly on pterosaur anatomy and systematics, and I also engage in science outreach.
