PeerJ Author & Reviewer

Summary

My undergraduate degree - Genetics - UC Davis - 1987.
At UC Berkeley - PhD Integrative Biology - with David Wake studying salamanders in 1993.
1994-1999 - postdoc - Jonathan Losos and Alan Larson - Washington University in St. Louis working on Anolis lizards. From 1999 to now I have been working closely with Aaron Bauer on geckos and skinks.
In my research, I have tried to apply innovative tests of phylogenetic patterns to molecular data in order to make reliable inferences of history.
