I am a pharmaceutical scientist and polymer chemist turned into an eye/vision researcher. I received my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. In my industrial stint I specialized in long acting polymeric medical devices for contraception. Currently, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. I am interested in identifying genetic modifiers of galucoma and developing novel drug targets, and nanomedicine
