Sergio Luján-Mora
Summary
Sergio Luján Mora is a senior lecturer of the Department of Software and Computing Systems at the University of Alicante in Spain. He earned his PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Alicante in 2005 with a doctoral thesis about data warehouse modelling with UML. He has been a post-doctoral researcher in the USA and Ecuador.
He has developed and implemented web applications since 1997 and has taught how to do it at the university since 1999.
His main research topics include web application development, web accessibility and usability, e-learning, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and Open Educational Resources (OER).
He has taught the courses "Compilers", "Programming and Data Structures", "Internet Programming", "Hypermedia Programming 1" and "XML" at the University of Alicante. He has also taught several courses in web programming, web application development and web usability and accessibility, both in Spain and in other countries, such as Algeria, Cuba, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Moldova, Peru, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.
Since 2012 he has also worked on the development of MOOC. He coordinates the courses iDESWEB (http://idesweb.uaedf.ua.es/), iXML (http://ixml.uaedf.ua.es/) and AWEB (http://accesibilidadweb.es/).
