Summary
I am an evolutionary biologist interested in the patterns and processes that produce and shape species diversity. Why are there so many species living in the tropical regions? Why some species are more successful than others if they both look the same? Do some species evolve faster than others depending on where they live? These are some questions that motive my research. To cover these questions I use computational tools that allow the study of genes and genomes. To learn more about me, please visit my website: https://santiagomonteromendieta.github.io
