Summary

I have practiced laryngology exclusively since 1987. I did medical school and residency at Washington University in St. Louis. After a 20-year academic career at Washington University and then at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, I founded Bastian Voice Institute in Downers Grove, Illinois, in 2003.

My interests include vocal fold microsurgery, spasmodic dysphonia, larynx cancer, nonorganic disorders, swallowing problems, and sensory neuropathic cough.
