Ramamohana Reddy Appannagari
Dr. Appannagari is working in CHEMTEX Environmental & Industrial Hygiene Services, Port Arthur, Texas. Being his supervisor, I had opportunity to closely observe and evaluate his work over a period of nine years. He is a dedicated analyst of both environmental and industrial hygiene sampling and analysis. He is proficient in Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Clean Air Act (CAA) of EPA. Besides he is also proficient in the analysis of personnel and area samples of industrial workers to meet OSHA monitoring requirements. In recognition of his dedicated work he was made to head one of the satellite centers of the company.
Dr. Appannagari is presently associated in environmental pollution issues related to soil, sediment, water, and wastewater, solid waste including industrial solid and liquid wastes, microbiological, drinking water, air and biological. He participated in several educational programs related to environmental pollution prevention, soil conservation, rural health, ground water exploitation, afforestation in relation to climate change. He has several articles highlighting environmental problems and affordable solutions at grass-root level.
