Summary
My long term research goal is to better understand and describe the (geometric) structure and (temporal) dynamics of natural ecosystems. A significant part of my research activities is devoted to the development of synthetic indicators of plant and animal biodiversity. I also study the environmental factors that drive community diversity in riparian and forest ecosystems and how this diversity help stabilizing the temporal dynamics of ecosystem functions (e.g. primary & secondary production).
