Rafael S. Guerta
Summary
Rafael Guerta is a Biologist licensed by the Federal University of São Carlos. Master's degree in Ecology by the National Institute for Amazonian Research. He was coordinator of wildlife management in Eduardo Gomes International Airport - Manaus - Amazonas, Brazil, in charge of managing wildlife populations and wildlife risk assessment. Also he has years of teaching experience in primary and secondary school as well as consulting on environmental licensing projects. The questions he addresses are motivated by a desire to mechanistically define the processes underlying population and community dynamics. He is broadly interested in applied ecology, zoology of vertebrates, ethology and environmental education projects. Currently: PhD Candidate (Federal University of Pará). Research in population dynamics of vertebrates, movement ecology and urban planning.
