Peter Marko


I am a marine biogeographer and evolutionary biologist that uses molecular tools to understand changes in species' distributions, population connectivity, adaptation, and speciation. I graduated with a BSc in Zoology from the University of Alberta and a PhD in Population Biology from the University of California at Davis and was a postdoc at The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (Panama), The Friday Harbor Labs (Univ of Washington), and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
