Patrizia Pagliara

PhD (Biology and Biotechnologies), at University of Lecce – Italy, then researcher at the Department of Environmental and Biological Sciences and Technologies (Comparative Anatomy and Cytology Lab) –University o Salento – Italy. It has carried out periods of study and research at the CNRS, Station Zoologique, Villefranche-sur-Mer (France) on techniques of breeding of Echinoids larvae, at IFREMER-CNRS, University of Montpellier (France), on techniques of protein purification and on of monoclonal antibodies. Her studies produced 45 papers published on international journals and as many presentations to national and international conferences. The 2 main lines of search are: 1. Strategies of immunity defence in invertebrates with particular attention to soluble factors, regulatory enzymes and cells involved in immunity response mechanisms. 2.
