I am currently working as assistant professor of Clinical Chemistry & Biochemistry at Health Science College at Lieth, Department of Public Health, Umm Al-Qura University since June 2012. Recently I earned my doctoral degree (D.Sc.) in Clinical Biochemistry & Laboratory Biomedicine, Faculty of pharmacy, Ljubljana University, Slovenia 18th Oct 2016. My doctoral thesis title was “The role of Klotho and CYR61 proteins in early diagnosis of acute kidney injury after cardiac surgery” under supervision of Assoc Prof Dr. Milan Skitek “ Head of Clinical Chemistry & Biochemistry Institute, University Medical Center Ljubljana” and Ass Prof Dr. Ales Jerin “ Director of Tumor markers and hormones Department, Clinical Chemistry & Biochemistry Institute, Clinic Ljubljana Center”. My previous Master Degree (M.Sc.) was completed in August 2009 in Medical Biochemistry from Alexandria Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University under the title of “Serum Level of Fetuin-A in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE): relation to Disease Activity and Accelerated Atherosclerosis”. Applications at the Egyptian Ministry for Scientific Researches.My current area of interest encounter Investigation of hidden or missing correlations between autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus nephritis, Diabetes mellitus with accelerated atherosclerosis along with disease activity.
