Summary

I earned my B.Sc. from Scottish Church College and M.Sc. from Presidency University in 2015 as a gold medalist. I completed my PhD in Chemistry at IIT Kanpur, working with Prof. Pratik Sen on protein behavior in crowded environments using FCS and fluorescence-based ultrafast spectroscopy. I also explored protein aggregation, photophysics of nanomaterials, solvent mixtures, and fluorescence sensing of metal ions. In 2023, I joined Prof. Sua Myong's lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where I study RNA binding proteins and their role in gene regulation using single molecular techniques.
