Summary

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Oregon studying paleontology in the Department of Geological Sciences. I am interested in understanding the processes which underlie mammalian community reassembly after volcanic perturbations. I am especially interested in understanding the the impact of large scale eruptions (supervolcanoes) on mammalian communities. I am focusing on the recovery after the Picture Gorge Ignimbrite in the Turtle Cove Member of the John Day Formation of Oregon.
