Summary

I gained my PhD in biochemistry at LaTrobe University in Melbourne and completed postdocs at the Walter and Elisa Hall Institute Melbourne and the Imperial Cancer Research Institute London. I was a researcher at Sandoz and then the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research, London from 1996 until 2005. I was Chair of the Department of Pharmacology, University of Melbourne from 2005 until 2012, Deputy Director of the Health Innovations Research Institute at RMIT University from 2012 until 2015 and a director of an enabling capability platform at RMIT until I joined the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in 2018
