Summary

MSc UAM, PhD WU. Tenured researcher at the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) since 2002, following tenured positions at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (1996-2002) and visiting positions at the University of Tokyo (2006) and Cornell University (2012). His research focuses on the evolutionary ecology of plant-animal interactions, the adaptive management of natural resources, and the analysis of environmental and research policy. He published >80 papers in SCI journals and supervised 5 PhD Theses. Member of the Steering Committees of EPBRS and FutureEarth-Spain, president of AACTE.
