I'm a freshwater ecologist with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering currently working as a Senior Scientist in Ecohydraulics at ETH-Zurich, Switzerland. I have over 16 years experience working with hydropower impacts on freshwater ecosystems and most of my research is focused in the understanding of the effects on freshwater fish. My research expertise include fish passages, downstream passage of fish through turbines, hydropeaking impacts and fish migration/dispersion.
