Based on my previous wide variety of research experiences would allow me to investigate functionalized adsorbents for water purification which leads to group leader in TEAM-NET project which assuming that utilizing fly ashes as a precursors for the synthesis of novel functionalized materials such as zeolites, meso-porous silica (SBA-15), MCM-41, MCM-48 and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), subsequently the as produced porous adsorbent materials would be applied for possible applications in sorption of inorganic and organic pollutants from an aqueous solution.
