Embryo and larvae
My main research interest is nutrition in connection to reproduction and early life stages of fish and I have worked with Atlantic salmon, cod, halibut and Ballan wrasse. Optimal nutrition during early life stages is important to ensure high quality juveniles with good growth and welfare later in life. I work with the whole nutrient profile but have a special interest for redox regulation, lipid oxidation and antioxidants such as vitamn C, vitamin E and selenium.
