Since 2005, I’ve been working in projects related with animal genetics, mainly in conservation genetics. I have been working in different research projects related with conservation genetics of aquatic resources from Colombia.
As a Ph.D. student, I am working with bioinformatics, molecular biology and population genetics of the Caribbean king crab (Mithrax spinosissimus, Decapoda: Mithracidae). My research interests include to investigate in different aspects for management recommendations for smale-scale fisheries conservation in Colombia and Latin America.
