Summary
Joan Browder began her career in fisheries science after receiving her PhD in H.T. Odum’s system’s ecology program at the University of Florida. Her principal work is with estuarine ecosystems affected by upstream water management. She has authored scientific synthesis and research papers on topics such as Everglades periphyton, marsh disintegration, and pink shrimp growth and survival.
