Jane Hillston


Jane Hillston received BA (Univ. of York) and MS (Lehigh Univ.) in Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science from the Univ. of Edinburgh. Her principal research interests are in the design of formal modelling languages to model and analyse dynamic systems and the development of efficient solution techniques for such models. Her work on the PEPA language won the first Roger Needham Award from the British Computer Society in 2004. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
