Summary

I am a Research Assistant Professor in the School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science at Michigan Technological University as well as a wildlife ecologist at Pacific Southwest Research Station - a USDA Forest Service research laboratory. My research focuses on disentangling mechanisms that influence demography, behavior and life-cycle phenology of wildlife (mostly birds with a strong interest in mammals). I also study avian molts and plumages.
