Interested in comparative anatomy, having taught veterinary anatomy for many years at Cornell University. I study the functional morphology of bats and have a long standing interest in bat flight and their capacity for terrestrial locomotion. Additionally have worked on horse muscle design and function and the relationship of muscle performance to upper airway disease in equine athletes.
