Jonas Rubenson

Summary

Dr. Rubenson directs the Muscle Function + Locomotion Lab within the Biomechanics Laboratory at PSU. The MF+LL aim is to identify the fundamental principles underlying muscle function during locomotion- in particular in vivo function during movement and the relationship between muscle mechanics and locomotor energetics. The lab adopts experimental and modeling approaches in both humans and animal systems, and applies this knowledge to improving human health and performance.
