Summary
Currently a second-year radiation oncology physics resident at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I completed my B.S. in physics, summa cum laude, at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008 and master's degrees in physics and medical physics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. Following graduation from Penn, I completed my Ph.D. in medical physics at the University of Chicago under the direction of Patrick La Riviere in the Department of Radiology. My thesis work investigated the use of a prototype transmission ultrasound imaging system for improving the sensitivity of screening mammography in women with high breast density.
