Summary
He finished his degree in 2003, the year in which he was awarded the title of Forestry Engineer by the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro (UAAAN) Saltillo Coahuila. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Forestry Sciences of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, where he obtained the degree of Master of Forestry Sciences in 2005. In 2017 he finished his PhD studies obtaining the title of Doctor of Forestry Sciences at the University of Concepción in Chile. Since 2008, he has been working at the National Institute of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock Research (INIFAP) as a tenured researcher within the Sustainable Forest Management and Environmental Services Program. Belongs to the national system of researchers (SNI-level 1), has directed 6 theses, is the author of 1 Technical Book, Author and co-author of 27 scientific articles in refereed journals, author of 5 Technical Brochures, 2 Brochures for Producers, 35 papers at national and international conferences, and 7 chapters of scientific books; He has also given two conferences by invitation.
