Jan C De Vynck

I am a researcher at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and associated with Arizona State University. I focus on ethnoarchaeologically related human ecology. My area of interest is the Cape Florisitc Region that supported humans since our inception as a distinct species, and before. I am currently a PhD candidate investigating the productivity and dependability of intertidal resources for human subsistence and the possible social implications these might have had with the emergence of cognitive modernity of humans.
