Hui Chen
Summary
Dr. Hui Chen is a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Agronomy, Kansas State University. He received his B.S. in Agronomy and M.S. in Crop Genetics and Breeding at Hainan University, China, and his Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology at Ehime University, Japan. He has more than 15 years of combined applied research experience in crop genetics and breeding, plant molecular biology and virology, plant pathogen-host interactions, plant disease resistance. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and 37 conference proceedings/abstracts, 1 book chapter, and 1 patent. He serves as an editorial board member for International Journal of Genetics and Genomics and Journal of Fungal Diversity, and he also serves as a reviewer for Plant Molecular Pathology, Scientific Reports, PeerJ, In Vitro Cellular & Developmental Biology-Plant; Ecotoxicology; MDPI: Gene, Viruses, Non-Coding RNA, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Plants, Cells; Journal of Agronomy and Agricultural Aspects.
