Harrie Weinans

Summary

Harrie Weinans received his MSc (Univ. Twente, 1986) and PhD (Radboud Univ. 1991). After a postdoc (Orthopedics, Rush Medical Center, Chicago he received a fellowship from the Netherlands Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences and moved to Erasmus MC (Rotterdam) where he became full professor in 2004 (chair: Mechanobiology of the Skeletal System). In 2013 he moved to UMCUtrecht (Orthopedics & Rheumatology) and holds a chair in Tissue Biomechanics & Implants at the TUDelft.
