Summary

Studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Stuttgart and afterward joined the high-performance computing center in Stuttgart (HLRS) to work coupled problems and optimization and vectorization of parallel user codes within the DEISA and PRACE projects.
Then joined the newly founded German Research School for Simulation Sciences (GRS), a joint graduate school of RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Jülich to develop highly scalable simulation software and started the development of the APES suite to this end.
Afterward moved to the University of Siegen continuing this work on HPC systems and the scalable APES suite. Now assumed a position at DLR in simulation engineering and working on parallelization of a broader set of software in aerospace.
