I am a director of an ecological consultancy in Hong Kong. My real interest, however, is in bird vocalisations and their relationship to taxonomy. I wish I could spend more time recording and analysing my data, but alas...! I focus on east Asian birds, particularly in China, but also venture further afield to Siberia and Central Asia.
