Summary

I am a psychologist and neuroscientist originally from Barcelona. I completed my PhD in Groningen –Netherlands-, and then moved to the Institute of Psychiatry in London. I work on psychosis, particularly on the early stages. Brain research in early psychosis has focused so far on cognitive processes. I investigate a different dimension: emotional processing, and the neurobiological mechanisms of its dysfunctions. I am also interested in how to intervene on those mechanisms to improve outcomes.
