Summary

Georgios P. Katsikas received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. diplomas from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2010 and 2012 respectively. In September 2018 he obtained a doctoral degree from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Dejan Kostic and Prof. Gerald Q. Maguire Jr. Between May 2017 and September 2018, he pursued the second part of his doctoral studies as an industrial Ph.D. student at RISE, working under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Steinert in collaboration with his academic advisors.

His main research interests include Computer Networks and Operating Systems with a focus on Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
