Our laboratory utilizes contemporary neuroanatomical approaches to identify the neurobiological bases for disorders of balance, equilibrium, postural control and spatial orientation. Brightfield, electron, confocal, multi-photon, super-resolution and light sheet microscopy are utilized with immunofluorescence, immunocytochemistry, hybridoma production, biochemistry, pharmacology and quantitative methods in studies of the vestibular and basal ganglia systems.
