Summary

Dr. Fan Ding is a young assistant professor of soil ecology in College of Land and Environment, Shenyang Agricultural University, China. His research focuses on soil processes including C cycling and greenhouse gas fluxes, and how these relate to climate warming, land use change, biochar amendment and plastic mulching , etc. He is also interested in ecological stoichiometry, i.e., soil and plant C/N, C/P, and N/P ratios. During his PhD study, he was awarded as "the leading merit student in University of Chinese Academy of Sciences" and "Paul Outstanding Student Award", which are for only 1% of total students. He has published 10 peer-view papers and has over 120 cites (Scholar).
