Summary

My current research addresses the assessment of landscape functional connectivity in Mediterranean regions. The main focus is understand the role of habitat corridors and landscape structure on small carnivores population movement and distribution. Particularly, how roads influence the dispersal, which is crucial for persistence.
I will start soon research on the ecology of small carnivores in South Africa namely on genets, mongooses and mustelids.
