Cave biologist since 1969, PhD Texas Tech University 1976. Retired from Missouri Department of Conservation 2012. Experience in California, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Washington, Mexico, Belize. Experienced in taxonomy of mites and millipedes, cave ecology, Astyanax cavefishes (Mexico), bat ID and population estimates with infrared video and traditional methods, and other studies.
