Collaborative research projects and cruises providing baseline data on structure and function in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean chemosynthetic and non-chemosynthetic benthic habitats of use to conservation. Teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, thesis direction.
