    Summary

Studies on the bacterial endosymbiont Wolbachia and its symbiosis with insect hosts since 2011. Using molecular biology, genomics and experimental evolution to understand complex Wolbachia-induced phenotypes, in particular pathogen and parasite protection. PhD in Host-microorganisms Interactions from Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencia, Oeiras, Portugal. Master's degree in Biotechnology from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland.
