Dr. Zajie Dong is a professor in Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. He is the Deputy Director of Genetics & Breeding Department, as well as the Principal Scientist in the National Technology Research System of Major Freshwater Fish Industry. Dr. Dong has been engaged in the genetics research and breeding technology development in fish, especially in common carp and tilapia more than 30 years. He gets great achievements in his research career and has been awarded 14 state and provincial level scientific prizes. He is the Outstanding Mid-Aged Expert with Remarkable Contribution of Chinese Government and the Candidate of Chinese Talents Project.
