Summary

I am interested in diatoms, microalgae, as biological indicators of water quality. Diatoms are ornamental, diverse, and ubiquitous. They are found where ever there is water. I am currently contrasting DNA barcoding and morphology, using scanning electron microscopy of diatoms in the Lewis lab at UCONN.
