Deepak Veerappan
Summary
I am a herpetologist working on conservation, ecology, systematics of Asian herpetofauna. I have a PhD in Wildlife Sciences from Saurashtra University and I completed my PhD on Ecology and behaviour of Travancore tortoise in 2013. I completed my first postdoc in India on phylogeography and systematics of fan-throated lizards and I am currently a Marie-curie individual fellow at the Natural History Museum, London. My current projects involve are macroevolutionary patterns, conservation and systematics of lizards, snakes and turtles with focus on South Asia.
