Diane L. Souvaine
Summary
Dr. Souvaine is Professor of Computer Science at Tufts University. Her research interests include computational geometry, design and analysis of theoretical and applied algorithms, and computational complexity. A faculty member at Rutgers for 12 years, a member of the directorate of DIMACS for 2.5 years, Tufts CS Dept Chair from 2002-2009, Vice Provost for Research from 2012-2015, and National Science Board member from 2008-2020, she was elected Fellow of the ACM in 2011, Fellow of AAAS in 2017, Vice Chair of the National Science Board in 2016, and Chair of the National Science Board in 2018.
