David Anthony Kirk
David Anthony Kirk is a consulting research ecologist working mainly with Environment and Climate Change Canada and Parks Canada Agency. His research focuses on threats to biodiversity and how these can be mitigated. He is especially interested in systematic conservation planning, methods to assess beta diversity, how agroecosystems can be managed to benefit plants and animals (especially organic farming) and the conservation of species at risk. Finding new and intriguing ways to analyze, and publish, old datasets is an ongoing passion.
