Summary

I am a glycobiologist currently working to develop biomaterials that can be used to mimic the role of the stem cell niche. I work with a small research group at The University of Manchester and we collaborate widely with groups around the world. We have a particular focus on glycosaminoglycans and have studied the role of heparan sulphate in embryonic stem cell behavior.
