Dr Carla Micheli is Senior Researcher at ENEA, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, Rome, Italy.
My research activity is focused on Identification and growth dynamic of aquatic populations. Seagrass biodiversity. Biomass Renewable energy. Assessment of environmental stress and its effects on organisms, in marine ecosystems.
In particular I am working on ecological/genetic structure of seagrass ecosystems, and mapping the meadows by Remote sensing techniques.
Partecipation to International projects (e.g.-Seagrass Integrated Monitoring Systems. ESA: European Space Agency (ITT:AO/1-5828/EC and . COST Action ES0906 “Seagrass Productivity from genes to ecosystem management”).
