    Summary

I am a Post Doc Researcher in the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture (IMBBC) of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). My research is focusing on microbial community functioning at hypoxic ecosystems, such as lagoons and oxygen minimum zones. In particular, I am interested in microbes involved in nitrogen and sulfur cycles. My technical skills involve PCR, high-throughput sequencing, RNA Stable Isotope Probing and bioinformatics analyses. My research interests include Microbial Ecology, Marine Biology and Ecology, Marine Biodiversity and Functional Diversity.
