With three-years of research experience as Research Assistant Professor at the Technology Research Centre, Department of Biochemical Engineering, University of Maryland Baltimore County, where I was involved in research activities and managed the laboratory work. I was more familiar with research projects which involved the development of cell-free expression and its application in recombinant protein production. Also worked on screening the dengue vaccine candidates (Two patent applications). Earlier, I was trained at Helmholtz Centre for Infection research, Braunschweig, Germany and at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, New Delhi, India. Being a driving force worked on applied research involving design and development of recombinant vaccines for HBsAg, putative dengue vaccine candidate, Human Insulin development, HCV diagnostic kit development. In the past, also worked at Shantha Biotech (A part of Sanofi, India) for the development of erythropoietin.
Additionally, serving as reviewer for prestigious journals like Biotechnology advances, Protein expression and purification, PLoS ONE, Microbial cell factories, Preparative Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Korean Journal of applied biological society and Biochemical engineering Journal and etc.,
