Carlos E. Castañeda.
was born in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico in 1973. He received the B. Sc. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Guadalajara, the M. Eng. Degree from the University of la Salle Bajio and the Ph. D. degree from CINVESTAV-IPN (Advanced Studies and Research Center of the National Polytechnic Institute) Campus Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2001, 2004 and 2009 respectively.
He currently works in the University of Guadalajara (CuLagos) in the department of Exacts Sciences and Technology where he is advising one Ph. D. degree and one M. Sc. Degree student. His main research interests include nonlinear control, communications with chaotic systems, application of artificial neural networks combined with: sliding modes, block control, and fuzzy logic techniques to automatic control.
